The reserve has more than 6000 rock engravings dating 5000 year-old. It has a huge collection of priceless historical exhibits. Then visit Open Air Museum to witness rocky paintings, carvings etc. Continue your tour to watch the little conical mounds that erupts with thick, cold, grey mud. There are more than 300 active mud volcanoes around Baku. Return to Baku to visit Ateshgah \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Fire Temple \u00e2\u20ac\u201c one of the 3 fire temples in the World. For centuries, fire-worshippers from faraway countries, and even priests from India have searched for the fire and found it in Absheron and built their main temple here \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Surakhani Atashgah. This place is considered sacred. Continue your tour to visit Burning mountain \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Yanar Dag, it has a ten meters long wall of fire, that never extinguishes and is burning continuously alongside the edge of the hill. The volcano, which has been nominated for UNESCO World Heritage, has been burning for hundreds o f years.
